Situation Reports received from the National Interagency Coordination Center (NICC) in the US are maintained in ZIP format.

Individual reports wrapped within the ZIP'ed files are named according to the following syntax 

     imsryy.mdd

     where   y = last two digits of the year
             m = letter corresponding to the month
                 a: january
                 l: december
            dd = day


     imsr99.f14 is the report for 14 June 1999
