HotLine Assist Opportunity
The CIDI staffs a HotLine service in Washington, DC at the time of a major international disaster response effort. The purpose of the HotLine is to receive calls from the public and give guidance to the caller regarding offers of any nature. The operator receives initial training in the types of queries and responses that are expected at the HotLine and works under the supervision and support of CIDI staff. The work schedule is based upon the availability of the operator. The volunteer must be in the Washington, DC metropolitan area to participate.
