CIDI Special Honors for Iraq The CIDI would like to acknowledge the individuals, groups and corporations who have undertaken innovative and meaningful initiatives to help the people of Iraq. The story presented below demonstrates a learning process, an awareness and a sensitivity of the true needs of those who are suffering. There is an important role for the public and corporations to play in international humanitarian assistance, and the CIDI remains committed to providing them with the guidance to help them make the best choices. We hope that by sharing stories, it will inspire others to respond to not only this, but also other humanitarian needs around the world with compassion, creativity and insight.
